Bingo Night

BINGO NIGHT!

Our annual bingo nights are one of our most popular events. The Bel Air Armory was filled with the laughter of over 250 people, vying for an amazing selection of prizes.

It was a wonderful opportunity for the community to bond over lighthearted competition.

We would like to thank Luxor Nails & Spa, Lisa Fuller and Associates, Pairings Bistro, La Tolteca, You Make Scents Candles, Discovery Farm Cut Flowers, APGFCU and Val Keyes for their gracious donations that ensured a memorable night.

SKULL PAINTING!

Dia de los Muertos is a significant holiday to many of our LASOS members. To celebrate, we hosted a skull painting night, where our Girls Butterfly group got to paint Day of the Dead ceramic skulls sculptures while watching a movie and enjoying refreshments.

LASOS staff was invited to the Power of place convening held in San Diego, the fourth-annual Power of Place brought together hundreds of crosssectors leaders, practitioners, and policymakers who are working tirelessly to drive social and economic mobility, at scale, for the most vulnerable children and families in our country.

The convening featured spoken word and dance performances by HCZ Promise Academy and Zone Programs scholars; the presentation of the Power of Place Founding Trailblazer Award to Dreama Gentry, Founder, President, and CEO, Partners for Rural Impact; and inspirational keynotes from place-based leaders.
