What's New?
LASOS, Inc held an inauguration ceremony on October 10, 2009. Many members of the community were there to celebrate the vision, mission and goals of the organization.
The ribbon was cut by two of the LASOS, members Gema Dominguez and Bertha Barragan along with county councilman David Craig, town councilman Robert Preston, Exectuve Director Melynda Velez, Director of Development Kim Edge, ESOL teacher Colleen Kahoe, and Board of Directors, Mike Thatcher, Ed Roberts, and Tammy Bailey.
Upcoming courses:
Mommy and me classes to begin in late January. The classes are meant for non English speaking children ages 3-5 and their parents to learn basic English and social skills through finger plays, songs, and crafts. We are very excited about this new opportunity to meet the needs of our youngest members.
